Mentored by Tony-award winning arranger Michael Chorney in Vermont and master drummer/composer here in the Bay Area, Scott Amendola, Jared blends soul, funk, free jazz, and psychedelic rock in his dynamic ensemble play, probing the possibilities in groove and improvisation. His original compositions dating back to the mid 90's reflect an emotional and intellectual synthesis of Black American Music, improvisational rock, and African innovators Mulatu Astatke, Fela Kuti, Tony Allen, among others.
Rob Phillips

From Queens NY, Rob E. Phillips studied at Julliard. His lyrical soulful style influenced by Lee Morgan, Chet Baker, and Freddie Hubbard has made him a top call throughout the Bay Area.
Stacy Starkweather
Electric and Upright Electric bass
Stacy has been a bassist since 1972, known for recording and touring with such bands as the Hieroglyphics Ensemble, The Jazz Mandolin Project and the Sun Ra Tribute/Cosmic Krewe. He is currently a Special Educator at Cal High in San Ramon.
